Winged Victory
This is a statue in the Louvre, ever since my Art History class in High School I have loved this statue. I love art and greek mythology so this statue combines those two. This is Athena Nike; Goddess of Victory. I don't know why she is my favorite Goddess, everyone who knows me knows I'm SERIOUSLY lacking in the athletic department. For some reason this has also pulled me, the artist really has a way of showing how powerful she is and I just really want to be like that. Someone that emanates power.
